NBA Lineup Locked: NBA All-Star Game 2025 Teams Revealed

NBA All-Star Game 2025 starts on 16 February in San Fransisco, California. On Thursday, the three co-hosts of Inside The NBA announced three teams from a total of 24 players. The three teams are Team Chuck, Team Kenny and Team Shaq.

The legendary, Lebron James who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers was the first to go under the draft for Team Shaq. He is a three-time Olympic Champion and holds the record for the all-time NBA leading scorer. Other significant players include Kevin Durant and Steph Curry.

Anthony-Edwards who played in the Paris Olympics 2024 was the second one to get chosen for Team Kenny. He’s a rising star in the NBA, who became the third youngest NBA Player to score 6,000 points. He also had the second most 40 points in playoff games under 22. The “Gen-Z” team is led by other stars like Jalen Brunson and Jaren Jackson.

Nikola Jokic is the first player to have 2,000+ points, 1,000+ rebounds and 500+ assists in one season. He holds the record for the most regular season and playoff triple-doubles. He was selected for the Team Chuck followed by the two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo. Among other promising players are Karl-Anthony Towns and Donovan Mitchell.
A mini-tournament is happening for the first time in the event’s history where 4 teams will compete for the championship, out of which 3 teams are solely made up of all-star players while the fourth team will feature some of the best young players.
Each player of the winning team will get $125k, the runner-up team will get $50k and the third team will get $25k. The teams will be coached by Kenny Atkinson and Mark Daigneault.
