Teams in the Final Four

The 2026 NCAA March Madness tournament will feature teams that have established consistency over the course of the season and have a long-standing tradition of success, while others are still looking to achieve their ultimate goal and crown a champion.

UConn, sitting at 33-5 entering this past weekend, is trying to add to its collection of national championship trophies.

The Huskies captured their second national title in three years, and currently boast an impressive resume of six championships overall, making them the most experienced team at this level.

Michigan, which currently sits at 35-3, has been one of the most consistently successful teams this season but is still chasing its first NCAA title since 1989.

The Wolverines, who have also experienced a conference championship drought, are joining Illinois as the only remaining Big Ten teams to have not won a national title since 2000.

Illinois is currently at 28-8 and has the opportunity to achieve its first-ever national championship. The Fighting Illini will need two more victories to secure their first national championship.

Arizona enters the tournament with an impressive 36-2 record and appears to have the best chance of winning a national title among the remaining teams.

The Wildcats have a storied history of success, with three national championships, but have not captured the title since 1997, and there is a strong argument to be made this year as they pursue their goal of winning a national championship.

Where to Watch March Madness Final Four 2026

Both semifinal games will be broadcast on TBS and truTV, with streaming available via Sling TV.

Ian Eagle will handle play-by-play duties, joined by analysts Bill Raftery and Grant Hill, while Tracy Wolfson reports from the sidelines.

At this stage of March Madness, there are no easy games left. Every team has a case, and only two wins now separate them from a national championship.
