PJ Tucker Gets A Funny Welcome By Josh Hart As He Joins Knicks

PJ Tucker has been away from the basketball court for a long time after his fallout from the Los Angeles Clippers for most of the season while the team was looking for a trade. He was eventually traded to the Utah Jazz and the Toronto Raptors, who waived him off in February, making him an unrestricted free agent. 

Tucker held multiple discussions with several teams before deciding to go for the Knicks and finally signed a 10-day contract with the team where he would earn $119,972. There are possibilities that Tucker might remain with the Knicks beyond this 10-day contract, considering his connection with the executive, Lean Rose, and his leadership qualities. 

PJ Tucker joined the New York Knicks on 10 March 2025, and the welcome is not what we expected. Josh Hart, who is known for his humour and undying team spirit, took to his Twitter account and wrote, “Tell bro bring all them Kobe’s lol”

His tweet was a lighthearted and humorous welcome to his new teammate. The tweet was a playful request to bring all his Kobe Bryant shoes to the Knicks. Tucker is renowned for his extensive sneaker collection, which includes many rare and valuable Kobe shoes valued at $4 million and $5 million. Josh Hart was also seen defending Karl-Anthony Towns from accusations. 

He said, ” It’s tough, A lot of you guys forget we’re humans. Or you guys look at us like we’re animals in a petting zoo or a parlay, or something like that. We give him a lot of credit; we’re there for him,”

“You all forget that we’re real people, that we have real-life problems and traumas and things like that that we have to navigate. I think everyone has to keep that in mind when they say things. People say stupid things when they don’t understand and we’re humans.” he added
