In 2004, Carmelo Anthony, the newly retired NBA star, began dating La La. She is a well-known television personality, a businesswoman, an actor, a producer, and a best-selling author for the New York Times. On March 7, 2007, the couple welcomed a son into their family, whom they named Kian. On July 10, 2010, Carmelo and La La tied the knot. VH1 videotaped the event, and it was later featured in the reality series “La La’s Full Court Wedding.” Carmelo was accused in public of having an extramarital affair in 2017, but La La insisted that she and Carmelo were not divorcing. The pair nevertheless filed for divorce in 2021.
